The Metropolitan Players is a youthful, energetic wedding band based in New York City that ONLY PLAYS WEDDINGS!!
We deliver the sound and song selection of a DJ, with the electric energy of a live band!
It's our mission to revolutionize the wedding entertainment industry by standardizing love as an expectation for booking and working with a wedding band in the Tri-State area (because we love love). While earning their Masters degrees in Music and Business respectively, founders Drew and Erin Coles created the band for their own wedding, and care deeply about creating a beautiful wedding for each and every client. Over the past several years, we've grown to become one of the most well trained and well respected collectives in New York City and the surrounding areas.
In 2018, we earned a coveted place in The Knot Hall of Fame after being voted "Best of Weddings" four years in a row - and we just won again in 2019 (woot woot) thanks to our incredible couples!! It's our privilege to provide tailored, compassionate customer service, keep the dance floor packed all night long, and make each couples special day truly unforgettable!
